making a souvenir of a souvenir program making

I thought once all the write-ups for the Pinocchio souvenir program have been submitted, edited, proofread and finalized, we could immediately start printing.

Well, I had a lesson coming! Laying out the whole sixteen pages can take some tedious time, really. Plus making the center spread, a collage of everybody's picture, is taking a LOT of time. So focused was I on the words that I forgot that fine tuning the images takes a much longer time.

So here we are, at the f.un.shop office, toiling over the pixels and page layout. Good thing we found a printer in Cebu who is willing to do the printing given so little time. I sure hope they can deliver what they promised as the show is on Friday, March 7 already.

Here's our graphics and layout artist, KaiKai Kho, and her able assistant, Kim Yuzon, who is also a member of the cast as a villager and as one of the toys.

Korporate Kai

Kai is Koool!

And here's our cover page!

Awwkk! Sowii... the colors are wrong and my graphics girls have gone home... so I don't know how to correct the colors here. Pinocchio's face is supposed to be wooden brown and not cyanotic blue! And the background should not be devilish red but of a magical hue. Hmmm...
