hot stuff

One of the perks of living in an island province is the abundance of fresh produce from the sea.

For example, here is a bowl of steaming halaan soup, a kind of seashell, one among the many sold in the tiangge. Ultra fresh, the soup is so sweet. Not sickening sugary sweet but sweet sweet. In Tagalog, manamis-namis. The best part? Only 60 pesos a whooping kilo.

But where's the soup in that bowl? Well, uhh... looks like somebody couldn't resist sampling it before taking the picture. ::slurp:: Ahh. Heavenly. Or, oceanly, if you like.

Sarap. Balang araw, gusto ko talaga mag-retire sa sarili kong beach house dahil sa mga bagay tulad ng post mo Doc. Btw, thanks for the hug. :)
