Chelsea Bernasconi was 13 years old when she became the World Junior Champion in Wushu when she won the gold medal in the wushu spear division competition in Kuala Lumpur last August 2006.
The Manila Standard has dubbed her "A champion in life."
"JUST like any other teener, 13-year-old Chelsea Bernasconi is supposed to be discovering the joy of being an adolescent, hanging around with her friends, or spending more time at the chat room. But since getting hooked up into sports as early as seven beginning with gymnastics, Chelsea discovered how meaningful life can be with the talent God gave her.
Chelsea , whose real name is Francesca Ysabel, related to Standard Today recently that she dreams of playing in the Olympics someday. "
