I have to say that there are no mangoes in the world as good as the mangoes grown in Philippines. Sadly, they are not available where I live. The closest thing to them are certain Mexican mangoes......good but not as good. The Mexicans here call these yellow Mexican mangoes "Manilas".

Sarap ng picture na to Doc. Favorite ko mangga. I remember when we were kids we used to climb up our Lola's mango trees then eat them after wiping them with our shirt, with the skin and all! At may salt sa mga palad namin. I'm salivating already. :)

I agree, Robert. Maybe it's the soil or the air or the latitude or the longitude but anybody who has tasted Philippine mangoes will concur. Cheers!
